You can use Skape’s guest-facing booking pages or place the supported booking widget on your existing website. Both approaches need a clear path to the right location and a phone checkout that guests can complete.
- 1Choose the supported embed mode for your website.
- 2Use the generated code for the correct venue.
Start with your booking page
Confirm the venue name, room images, descriptions, capacity, operating dates and contact information. Use Branding for the available logo and color settings. If CMS, blog or custom pages are enabled, review their published content and links separately from booking availability.
Do not publish private dashboard URLs as guest booking links. Open the page in a signed-out browser to see the actual public experience.
Embed on your own site
- Open Settings → Widget and use the embed instructions generated for your venue.
- Place the supplied code in the part of your website that supports custom embeds or code. Your site builder may require its own publishing step.
- Verify the configured location and the page layout around the embed.
- Publish the site change and open the actual public page on desktop and phone.
- Select a room and time, check the full price and follow the flow up to payment without creating an unintended booking.
Do not invent an embed snippet from another product or reuse a different venue’s tenant identifier. If a website blocks scripts or frames, collect the browser message and site-builder details for support.
Use a custom domain
The Domain settings guide the supported custom-domain setup. DNS changes happen at your domain provider and can take time to propagate. Confirm exactly which record and hostname the product requests, and preserve unrelated email records. IOX can help configure the software and explain required records; ownership and registrar access remain with your business.
Check both the public site and any booking links after the domain becomes active. A domain showing a homepage is not proof that every checkout or asset URL works.
Review the whole journey
Look for horizontal scrolling, clipped calendars, unreadable totals and links that open the wrong location. Test a real phone browser as well as a desktop resize when possible. Check accessibility labels and contrast after branding changes.
The guest journey guide covers what follows a booking. A public template preview contains fictional links and should never be used as your venue’s actual booking destination.
