What happens after my 14-day trial?

After your trial, your account stays on the Free plan. You keep all your data and bookings. All features remain available — the only difference between plans is limits (rooms, staff, SMS) and the booking fee rate.

What's the booking fee?

The booking fee is a small percentage added to each booking, paid by the customer at checkout — not by you. On the Free plan it's 6%, on Pro it's 3%. This is how Skape stays free for venue owners.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll get immediate access to higher limits and the lower fee rate. When downgrading, your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period.

Do I need a Stripe or Square account?

Yes, you'll need to connect either Stripe or Square to process payments. During onboarding, you'll connect your existing account or create a new one. Funds are deposited directly to your bank account.

What counts as a 'room' for plan limits?

Each escape room or experience you create counts as one room. If you have 3 physical rooms, that's 3 rooms on your plan. Archived or inactive rooms don't count toward your limit.

Is there a contract or commitment?

No contracts. The Free plan is free forever. Pro is billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime.
